What it is

Gonadorelin is described as a synthetic version of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), the signal that tells the pituitary gland to release LH and FSH. Its established clinical context is reproductive endocrinology, not general hormone optimization.

Mechanism (as described)

  • The hypothalamus normally releases GnRH in pulses. That signal reaches the anterior pituitary, which releases luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). These hormones act on the testes or ovaries, influencing sex-hormone production and the development of sperm or eggs.
